HotStart™ Pro Kiln
The new HotStart Pro kiln is a 15" diameter top-loading, top firing hexagonal kiln and accepts a 13" round shelf. It uses common household current and features the GlassMaster LT Controller. It also includes an 8" stand and porcelain peephole plug. There is a 2 year warranty on parts and labor included.

The new 3-button GlassMaster LT Controller, developed especially for the HotStart Pro Kiln, is fully pre-programmed to successfully fire and anneal glass projects up to 3/8" in finished thickness. The size of the project determines which of the three firing options the user selects: Fast, Medium or Slow. You can then identify the process: Slump, Tack-Fuse or Full Fuse and then dictate the Process time and temperature (ex; 1500° for 10 minutes). The user also has the ability to ADD TIME and/or ADD TEMPERATURE in 5 minute increments in order to adjust the firing process. The GlassMaster LT controller achieves fully automatic firing, and provides simple manual overrides for artisans who wish to exercise more precise control over forming. As an added new feature to the Pro model, you can now set up to five customizable firing programs with 8 segments per program.

An optional HotStart Accessory Kit ($35) is available that contains a 13" round kiln shelf, three 1" posts, 8 ounces of shelf primer and enough ThinFire shelf paper for three full-shelf firings.

Shipping and insurance is a flat fee of $78, no matter where the recepient lives (in the continental USA). This $78 shipping charge may show incorrectly at check-out but will be charged nevertheless. The HotStart can be purchased with or without the Accessory Kit.

Only Visa/Mastercard can be accepted for this transaction. It's the only card that Spectrum Glass accepts.
