- MINI PENDANT HARDWARE
Here’s a great way to make hanging pendant lamps with either fused or stained glass.
For fused glass lamps, simply drape your glass design over a large floral former (#4318-065) or a mold of your choice, then drill a 1 1/8” hole in the top of the shade and slip it over the check ring on the socket. You’re done. Instructions for making fused glass shades like the ones shown to the right can be found in “Fuse It” (#6894- $21.95) by Petra Kaiser.
If you would like to make a stained glass shade for the hanging hardware, make the shade to fit one of the 3 vase caps shown below and solder your shade to a cap. The 3 vase caps allow you to make either a dome, hexagonal or 4-sided shade and are self-centering.
The hanging hardware is available as cord-hung or a telescopic metal stem, and both types are available in either a black, bronze or brushed nickel finish. The cord hung is adjustable in height to 48” and the telescopic adjusts from 23 - 38” in height. Hardware includes; 5.25” diam. Ceiling canopy, hardware and porcelain candelabra socket (60 watt bulb max). Bulbs sold separately.
