Inland's new SwapTop™ Glass Trim Saw is a great way for glass fusers to cut their pattern bars, pot melts, or any glass that needs to be trimmed or sliced. It cuts much faster and straighter than any ring saw or band saw that we've tested. The Trim Saw comes complete with a 6.5" diamond coated blade, water feed system, cutting fence, blade guard and will cut glass, tiles, or stone up to 1 1/8" thick. The SwapTop™ Trim saw also features a sturdy aluminum worksurface that won't corrode even when used wet. A cutting fence is included to make repetitive slicing accurate and fast. You also get a mitre guide to make angle cuts and is also used to safely push your glass while cutting. The Water Drip System feeds water continuously while cutting glass.
As with any of the SwapTop™ machines, the Trim Saw can be converted to other glassworking machines including a grinder, came saw, or even a flat lap by purchasing appropriate conversion kits. These conversion kits include all the necessary accessories to turn your existing SwapTop™ into the machine you want by using the same motor and base of the original machine. Just "swap the top" and turn it into a new glassworking machine; it's that simple.
