The LAYOUT BLOCK SYSTEM lets you utilize inexpensive soft boards (homasote or ceiling tiles) to lay out your projects. Start with the LB01 and add the other sizes as your needs change. When you need replacement pins, be sure to use the 1/2" long aluminum push pins otherwise the pins can go through the worksurface and scratch your table. |

HOMASOTE BOARD - An excellent surface to use as a layout board for your Morton Layout Block System. Soft enough to put the aluminum push pins into and also an excellent workboard for soldering. It's fire-retardent and contains no asbestos.

The SAFETY BREAK SYSTEM works with the Morton surfaces and gives control of the glass breaking process. The Running Tool and Breaking Button allows you to start a break anywhere along a score. The Push Block improves power and control of hand breaking. The combination of tools will make glass breaking easier and more successful.

M-80 SAFETY BREAK - The gentle power of the M-80 will break thick or thin glass. In textured or rippled art glass, it is often difficult to achieve the perfect score. The M-80 has the effortless power to start the break anywhere along the score and the control gives a good break with even a less than perfect score. Beginner or expert, the M-80 will pay for itself in glass savings.

Morton's ASSEMBLY TRAY is a great accessory for the Portable Glass Shop. Use all the rectangles, squares, equilateral triangles, pentagons that you cut from the Glass Shop to make several geometric shapes. The Assembly Tray is also a great tool for assembling boxes and terrariums. Spacer rods are included to create the proper spacing for geometric glass assembly.

CLEAN CUT - The Clean Cut will make perfect 45° border mitres and accurate 90° cuts with a standard hacksaw. The mitre vise is designed to hold, but not crush zinc, copper, lead or brass came. The Clean Cut can be used with or without the Morton worksurfaces. Be sure to have this tool in your workshop if you border any of your work in came.
