C.A.L. LIBRARY BASES
There are two sizes of the Classic American Lighting Library bases. The Short Library base fits shades with a diameter of 16" - 18" in diameter and the base measures 21" in height. The Tall Library base fits 18" - 20" diameter lampshades, height; 23" tall. The two bases are identical in appearence with the only difference being the height of the riser (the piece above the cluster body). Cast entirely in heavy brass, the Short and Tall Library bases feature a 3-lite cluster and are finished in a verdi-gris patina (green-brown).
The WB series of bases represent the best from Classic American Lighting. Featured are many of Tiffany's most popular models, as well as the best of other period lamp base designs. All employ more complicated manufacturing techniques, and many involve expensive lost wax castings. All bases are sold without caps or wheels.
