ART GLASS IN 1909 - Sarah King- A virtual treasure trove of stained glass window designs from the early 1900's.
Twenty-six glass decorating companies submitted 25 of their most popular designs, pared them down to 406, and the resulting catalog was "first class in every respect... Each and every one of the designs were practical and saleable". "Art Glass in 1909" is a replica of this catalog with many of the designs shown as watercolor renderings. There's even the square foot price of the designs that were charged back in 1909. A wonderful and important resource book for landing commissions. One of our personal favorites!!

STAINED GLASS LAMPS - FAST, FUN & BEAUTIFUL- Hazel Howell- A nice beginner’s lamp book with 16 very easy designs. Most shades are 11 - 14” in diameter with some as large as 17”. All the shades are of the flat panel variety with 5 - 10 piece per panel. There’s helpful assembly photos with several pages of instructions.

Layering glass or plating yields subtlety that a single layered window would have difficulty in achieving. This book shows step-by-step how to plate a window and includes a practice pattern.
