| BRASS CAME Brass is the came of choice when rigidity and aesthetics is the overriding consideration. Brass U cames add strength to a copper foiled panel and add a contemporary look to the finished piece. In the case of the 1/8" U, it's also easier to coat with solder than 1/8" zinc. You'll get a smoother coating of solder and you'll then be able to patina the came the exact same color as your copper foiled panel. Our brass came is manufactured by Chicago Metallic Corp. All brass came is sold in 6 foot lengths. We ship brass in PVC tubes or triangular cardboard boxes (our discretion), in either 3 foot lengths or 6 foot lenghts. The charge for the 3 foot tube is $5.00; the charge for the 6 foot tube is $13.00. The $13.00 includes UPS' extra handling charge of $8.00. The came tube charge may or may not appear properly in the shopping cart, but will be charged when invoiced.
