The Gemini Saw Company has been hard at work to make their Taurus Ring Saw even better than it was before. To their credit, they’ve made it better than anyone could have expected! First of all, they’ve made it much quieter. It’s less than half as noisy as before. The Taurus 3 can snap out of the basin and retain water in its own trough while being used as a portable saw! (See picture below). The Taurus 3 has fewer and longer lasting parts. That means a lot less maintenance required and more time to work with glass. They’ve built in a flip-up face shield and included an intense bright white light that surrounds the blade while the saw in on. The worksurface is 25% larger and the body is constructed with metal reinforced polycarbonate for a very stiff and strong body. It’s backed by a 3 year warranty.
