WELLER IRON PLATED TIPS FOR SPG 80 IRON
Weller's iron plated tips require very little maintenance. Just wipe them on a wet soldering iron sponge (#2616) and they're nice and clean. No need for filing like the old copper tips. Keep the tips clean while you're soldering, but Weller recommends leaving the dirt on them when you turn your soldering iron off. Clean the tips when you start soldering again. These are the standard replacement tips for the SPG 80 iron.
